All our products consist of a few materials, but they can be used in different ways, which allows us to offer a wide range of products. Many of our customers ask us which products we have. Unfortunately, it’s not a question we can give a simple answer to, as we essentially have everything related to linseed oil. It’s just about how we combine them.
We use, among other things, raw cold-pressed linseed oil to impregnate wood before painting, as it has a very good ability to soak into the wood and protect against water penetration.
The boiled, oxidized linseed oil, on the other hand, is used for linseed oil paint, linseed wax, and Linus wall paint. It is also suitable for thinning linseed oil paint.
Linseed oil has been used in Swedish building preservation since the 1500s, and we have combined ancient European knowledge with modern production techniques to develop a whole new generation of linseed oil products, ranging from linseed oil, to linseed oil paint, linseed wax, and linseed putty.
